Meeting – 3rd March 2020

Our next meeting at St Saviour’s Church Hall is Tuesday 3rd March we welcome Rachel Brown from Dudley Archives and Local History Centre.

Dudley Archives holds a wide variety of records relating to various people, families, institutions and businesses within the Dudley Metropolitan Borough, with their earliest document dating back to 1182. Rachel will be discussing the evolution of the local archive service, sharing how they preserve and provide access to the records they hold and discussing what different types of records can reveal about the past.
