{"id":1810,"date":"2018-05-09T13:10:42","date_gmt":"2018-05-09T12:10:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hhfs.org.uk\/hhfs\/?p=1810"},"modified":"2018-07-23T19:32:46","modified_gmt":"2018-07-23T18:32:46","slug":"coach-outing-to-the-jewellery-quarter-thursday-5th-july","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hhfs.org.uk\/hhfs\/?p=1810","title":{"rendered":"Coach Outing to the Jewellery Quarter &#8211; Thursday 5th July"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The summer outing is to the Jewellery Quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Our coach leaves Webbs Garden Centre at 9.55am and the village car park at 10.00am.<\/p>\n<p>First stop is the <strong>Museum of the Jewellery Quarter<\/strong> for a tour of the Smith &amp; Pepper Factory lasting about an hour.\u00a0 A guide book is included, together with tea\/coffee and biscuits.<\/p>\n<p>We then move to the <strong>Birmingham Museum &amp; Art Gallery <\/strong>where there will be free time to visit the exhibits (including the Staffordshire Hoard) and the Edwardian Tea Rooms.\u00a0\u00a0Afterwards we visit the <strong>Pen Museum<\/strong> for a tour lasting about an hour.\u00a0\u00a0We return to Hagley for about 4.00pm.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of the outing is \u00a328 which includes coach, tour of the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter with guide book and refreshments, visit to Birmingham Museum &amp; Art Gallery, tour of the Pen Museum and tips.<\/p>\n<p>Car parking has been arranged at Webbs Garden Centre at a cost of \u00a31 per car, to be collected on the day.\u00a0\u00a0Numbers are limited to 30.\u00a0 Non-members welcome.\u00a0 Please <a href=\"https:\/\/hhfs.org.uk\/hhfs\/?page_id=47\">contact us<\/a> if you want to join the visit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The summer outing is to the Jewellery Quarter.
