{"id":1422,"date":"2013-08-04T07:50:55","date_gmt":"2013-08-04T06:50:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hhfs.org.uk\/hhfs\/?p=1422"},"modified":"2013-09-29T11:31:42","modified_gmt":"2013-09-29T10:31:42","slug":"50th-anniversary-coach-trip-to-buildwas-abbey-wenlock-priory-saturday-28th-september-2013-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hhfs.org.uk\/hhfs\/?p=1422","title":{"rendered":"50th Anniversary Coach Trip to Buildwas Abbey &#038; Wenlock Priory \u2013 Saturday 28th September 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Robert Deeley Fund Subsidised Event<\/p>\n<p>The first event held by the Society was a coach trip to Buildwas Abbey on Saturday 28th September 1963.\u00a0 It was repeated 25 years later in July 1988 and now again, after exactly 50 years.<\/p>\n<p>Our coach leaves Webbs Garden Centre at 10.00am and the village car park at 10.05am.\u00a0 First stop is Buildwas Abbey where Eric Greenwood will give us a guided tour.\u00a0 We then move to the Gaskell Arms, Much Wenlock, for a 2-course buffet lunch with tea or coffee.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards we walk to Wenlock Priory for another guided tour.\u00a0 There will be free time to explore the Museum, Guildhall or tea shops before returning to Hagley for about 5.15pm.<\/p>\n<p>The cost for members of the Society is \u00a323, subsidised from the Robert Deeley Fund,\u00a0 and non-members pay \u00a328.\u00a0 Coach fare, entrance fees, lunch and tips are included.\u00a0 There is a reduction of \u00a35 for members of English Heritage.\u00a0 Car parking has been arranged at Webbs Garden Centre at a cost of \u00a31 per car, to be collected on the day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Robert Deeley Fund Subsidised Event The first event held by the Society was a coach trip to Buildwas Abbey on Saturday 28th September 1963.\u00a0 It was repeated 25 years later in July 1988 and now again, after exactly 50 years.
